How to Delete Your Account
At BornAgain Hub, we believe you should have complete control over your personal data. If you wish to close your account and permanently remove your information from our platform, you can initiate a complete self-service deletion directly from your account settings.
Deleting your account will permanently terminate your access to the BornAgain Hub platform, media tools, projects, and remaining wallet balance.
Step-by-Step Deletion Instructions
To permanently delete your account and clear your data, please follow these steps within the dashboard console:
- Log in to your BornAgain Hub account at bornagainhub.com (if you are not already logged in).
- Click on the hamburger menu icon located in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
- From the navigation drawer, click on Security.
- Scroll to the very bottom of the security configuration panel.
- Click on the Delete your account button.
- Enter your current account password when prompted to verify your identity.
- Confirm your request. Your account and metadata will be permanently deleted immediately.
Data Retention & Deletion Disclosures
To comply with global data protection laws (including Google Play Data Safety policies), we want to make our data practices completely transparent before you proceed:
What is permanently deleted:
- Your profile credentials, including your name, email address, password hashes, and user preferences.
- Your customized workspace metadata, including text scripts, generation history logs, and saved project parameters.
- Your in-app wallet balance records and active sessions.
What data is temporarily kept & for how long:
- Billing and Transactional Logs: Financial history regarding payment checkouts and top-ups is kept for a mandatory period of up to 5 years to comply with statutory legal, financial, and auditing obligations.
- Fraud Prevention Records: If an account has been flagged or blocked for severe violations of our terms (such as carding or fraudulent activities), certain system security logs and device identifiers are retained indefinitely to prevent re-registration and protect our network infrastructure.
